EW SYSTEM «HYDRA 2-U»

The «Hydra 2-U» EW system is a modular professional electronic warfare system specifically designed for installation on heavy vehicles, armored personnel carriers, command and staff vehicles, and other platforms with limited roof space for equipment.

The system features a distributed design where all critical components — jamming modules, battery, and control unit — are housed in a protected server rack inside the vehicle. The antennas, conversely, are mounted externally and connected to the main unit via coaxial cables up to 3–4 meters long.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE:
The system is equipped with 8 to 20 jamming modules, each with a power of 50 W, operating across a wide frequency range — from 150 MHz to 6 GHz. The signal from the module is transmitted to an external antenna (dome or directional), which broadcasts the jammer signal into a defined space.

The system is controlled via a wired remote connected to the control unit. Built-in auto-detection ensures fully automatic operation:
Detects enemy activity → activates the suppression system.

POWER AND INSTALLATION:
The system is powered by a battery located in the same server rack. It can be charged from both 220V mains and a 12V car supply, with low voltage protection.

Antennas are easily mounted on the roof. The server rack itself has universal dimensions (2U + 3U) and is installed in a protected compartment.
