What is a cordless trimmer and brushcutter?

A cordless trimmer cuts grass with a line or plastic blades. It is lightweight, maneuverable, and works well where lawnmower wheels cannot reach: under benches, near flowerbeds, and around trees. Advantages of using cordless trimmers and brushcutters

A cordless trimmer starts with a button. There's no need to mix gasoline, pull a starter, or breathe exhaust fumes near the house. The cable also doesn't get in the way — a cordless grass trimmer can be moved behind the shed, to the far fence, or to a separate part of the garden.

If you already have a cordless tool of the same series at home, its battery often fits the trimmer as well. Compatibility is determined by the manufacturer, voltage, and mounting type: outwardly similar batteries may have different contacts.
