A drone detector is a device that allows you to understand that a UAV is operating nearby. During flight, a drone constantly exchanges signals with the operator: it transmits video and receives control commands.
Drone detectors monitor video transmission signals in the radio spectrum and react when the drone analyzer detects a characteristic communication channel between the drone and the remote control.
Most drones operate in the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands. These are the frequencies used for control commands and video signals in many FPV systems and commercial quadcopters.
