The Skyzone Cobra X V4 video goggles offer the highest possible performance, comparable to expensive FPV video goggles!

The Skyzone Cobra X features a built-in 4.1-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 and switchable aspect ratios of 4:3 or 16:9. The LCD screen outputs a bright and colorful analog image, allowing the pilot to see more details during flight. The design uses proprietary lenses, not Fresnel lenses, so the image is free from the distortions and blurring characteristic of Fresnel lenses.

The Skyzone Cobra X uses the modern Skyzone SteadyView 5G/5.8G 48-channel receiver module with RapidMix technology, which is also used in the more expensive Skyzone SKY04X OLED FPV video goggles. The receiver has two operating modes: Diversity and RapidMix. Diversity is the standard mode where the receiver selects the best signal from two antennas, reducing the possibility of complete signal loss. When using RapidMix mode, the receiver combines the signal from both antennas, making the image more stable and clear in challenging flight conditions. The receiver has a USB Type-C interface for firmware updates.

In the Skyzone Cobra X, the default video receiver can be easily replaced with any other, for example, receivers from TBS or ImmersionRC.

The built-in digital video recorder (DVR) allows recording flights in a single file for up to 30 minutes on a Micro SD memory card up to 128GB (Class 10). Unlike the S version, the Cobra X uses the modern H264 encoding format for video file recording. With the H264 codec, video files are compressed more efficiently, resulting in less quality loss and smaller file sizes. In case of sudden power loss during video recording, the recorded file will be corrupted, but the video goggles have a built-in function to recover the last corrupted file. Automatic recording can be configured to start when an image appears from the drone's FPV camera.

Two ribbed metal scroll wheels located on the top panel of the video goggles allow easy navigation through the extensive OSD settings menu. The OSD menu has a wide selection of settings and presets: video receiver usage settings, DVR, video playback, Head Tracker, as well as image quality settings: brightness, saturation, sharpness, etc. There are presets for image enhancement: standard, vivid, saturated, soft, custom, etc.

The built-in fan is used not only to prevent display fogging but also to dissipate heat from the internal components of the video goggles. If the loud sound of the fan bothers you, its rotation speed can be changed in the settings menu.

The video goggles are powered by one 18650 Li-ion rechargeable battery (not included), which is easily charged via the USB Type-C interface. The goggles can also be powered from an external source, such as a 2-6S LiPo battery.

The Skyzone Cobra X is suitable for those who wear glasses, but the frame height should not exceed 30mm.

Included with the video goggles is a soft eco-leather mask, along with additional spacers to reduce light leakage and for the nose bridge, which can be attached in different ways depending on your face type.

The bottom of the Cobra S features USB-C, DC IN, AV input, HDMI port, Head Tracker port, and an SD card slot.

Video goggles usually have much larger dimensions and weight than FPV video glasses, but the Skyzone Cobra X has approximately the same dimensions as DJI FPV video glasses!
