The S.T.O.R.M. Operator IFAK by North American Rescue is an official kit developed in accordance with the Specialized Tactics for Operational Rescue and Medicine (S.T.O.R.M.) courses created by the National Association of Tactical Officers and the Medical College of Georgia - Center for Operational Medicine. This compact yet multifunctional IFAK provides the operator with critically needed supplies for immediate self-aid and aid to an injured comrade at the scene, based on TCCC principles and practical battlefield experience.
Description and Purpose
The S.T.O.R.M. Operator IFAK is specifically designed to mitigate the three main causes of death in a tactical environment from penetrating injuries: 60% — extremity hemorrhage, 33% — tension pneumothorax, 6% — airway obstruction. The kit provides tools for quick and effective actions, reducing irreversible loss of life. The system is modular: it can be worn as a leg rig, attached directly to a duty belt, or integrated with an assault vest or body armor via MOLLE/PALS compatibility.
