Description

The CHDB TX+RX 370–550 MHz radio control system is a comprehensive kit for remote control of UAVs and UGVs in the enhanced 370–550 MHz band using the MIL ELRS protocol. It consists of a transmitter (TX), a receiver (RX), and antennas: for TX — Moxon or Yagi (configuration choice); for RX — a dipole with frame mount.

It is designed for a reliable control channel for FPV and other UAVs in the 370–550 MHz band, with the possibility of deploying repeaters. TX power 0.9–1.2 W, Backpack function, independent frequency and channel width setting. Range 100+ km with a Yagi antenna on the transmitter (according to the manufacturer).

The basic kit includes TX and RX modules, antennas, plastic frame mount (mount and mast), heat shrink tubing, and wires for soldering. Specify the particular TX antenna (Moxon / Yagi) and RX dipole sub-band in the configuration option on the website.

Key Features

  • Radio control of UAVs and UGVs in the 370–550 MHz band.
  • MIL ELRS protocol; FHSS on the receiver.
  • Transmitter power 0.9–1.2 W.
  • Backpack — video channel switching from the remote control.
  • Independent setting of operating frequency and channel width (from remote / Wi-Fi).
  • Ground TX antenna: Moxon (compact, directional) or Yagi (maximum range).
  • Onboard RX antenna: dipole with mount and mast.
  • Support for scenarios with repeaters.

Key Advantages

  • Range: 100+ km with Yagi antenna on TX; with Moxon — up to 30 km in combat conditions (according to CHDB line data).
  • Ready-to-use kit: TX, RX, antennas, mounts, heat shrink tubing, wires in one shipment.
  • Sub-GHz 370–550 MHz: more stable channel outside 2.4 GHz in difficult conditions and EW.
  • Encryption and FHSS (RX) — control channel protection.
  • Flexible TX antenna choice: Moxon for mobile stations, Yagi for maximum range.
  • CHDB in-house production: coordinated modules, antennas, and MIL ELRS firmware.
  • Quick integration: RX soldering, mount installation on drone, TX connection to remote.

Applications

  • Long-range FPV and reconnaissance UAVs (370–550 MHz).
  • Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) in EW zones.
  • Tactical observation and engagement with remote control.
  • Field control points with Moxon or Yagi on TX.
  • Networks with repeaters to extend coverage area.

Configuration Options (TX antenna)

On the website, select the ground transmitter antenna option. The basic kit composition is the same; the TX antenna type differs:

  • TX + Moxon + RX + RX dipole — more compact ground antenna, range up to 30 km (combat conditions).
  • TX + Yagi + RX + RX dipole — maximum range, 100+ km (according to the manufacturer).

Kit Contents (basic)

  • TX transmitter (MIL ELRS, Backpack).
  • Transmitter antenna — Moxon or Yagi (as per option).
  • RX 370–550 MIL ELRS receiver.
  • Receiver antenna — RX dipole (for selected sub-band).
  • Plastic antenna mount for frame (mount and mast).
  • Heat shrink tubing, wires for soldering.

Operation Warnings

  • Select the RX dipole sub-band and TX antenna strictly according to the 370–550 MHz module settings.
  • Orient the Yagi / Moxon antenna on TX towards the flight zone; for 100+ km, a Yagi and appropriate line conditions are required.
  • Adhere to the TX power supply range of 6.5–24 V.
  • Before flight: TX/RX binding, check Backpack, frequency, and FHSS.
  • Do not damage the IPEX cable onboard — use the mount and mast from the kit.
  • Range depends on antennas, terrain, EW, and onboard configuration.

The CHDB TX+RX 370–550 MHz system is a ready-made solution for long-range control: the combination of MIL ELRS, Backpack, choice of Moxon or Yagi on the ground TX, and onboard RX with a dipole provides a stable channel where range and interference immunity are critical.
