Ground wireless repeater «Vishchun-5.8» by BlueBird Tech — is a device designed to significantly increase the flight range of FPV drones (up to 45 km). The device is mounted on a mast and acts as a bridge between the operator and the UAV, ensuring stable communication at distances unattainable for standard equipment.
Mast (9m high) – An aluminum telescopic mast designed for quick and convenient mounting of various transceiving equipment, such as antennas, repeaters, surveillance cameras, and other sensors. This significantly improves communication quality, visibility, and safety.
Antennas, used in the complex with a high level of signal amplification for video and control, ensure stable communication over significant distances (up to 45 km).
Purpose
The ground station allows the pilot and navigator to control the UAV from a safe location (shelter, dugout, room, vehicle, etc.), maintaining full control over the drone and receiving high-quality video. The station is a critical component for professional FPV operations where operator safety and communication reliability are paramount.
The repeater is designed to provide reliable communication between the operator and the UAV over long distances. The device receives the video signal from the drone, transmits it to the operator, and also relays control signals. This allows operators to remain in a safe location while maintaining full control over the drone.
The mast allows for mounting and raising the necessary relay devices to the required height.
