Kulbaba ST (710-950 MHz) — FPV Control Jamming System

Kulbaba ST from manufacturer AWEDYNE is a portable EW system designed to increase the chances of preserving mobile and stationary assets from kamikaze drone attacks and neutralizing FPV control. The device is developed as a modular system of independent blocks, ensuring deployment flexibility and reliability in field conditions.

The system consists of separate blocks: each block has its own casing, a built-in non-removable antenna, and a connector for power supply from a portable LiFePo4 24 V, 12 Ah battery (battery included). Power is exclusively supplied by the included portable battery; transitioning to vehicle power or other options is not provided. Operating time from one battery is approximately 2.5 hours for two blocks.

The antennas of each module are tuned to a specific frequency range (710-950 MHz) and are not removable — this minimizes the risk of the block operating without an antenna, which can lead to failure of the amplification elements. The antenna design is reinforced to maintain geometry under the influence of wind, rain, and vehicle vibrations. The blocks are equipped with rubber-impregnated neodymium magnets, allowing for quick and reliable installation on metal surfaces of vehicles.

Important Recommendations and Warnings

  • 1. Many devices visually resembling "Kulbaba" have appeared on the market. The original manufacturer of the system is only AWEDYNE. Other devices are not related to this product.
  • 2. Devices with multiple bands in one casing and multiple antennas in a shared casing often do not work correctly: antennas must be physically separated for proper operation.
  • 3. Collinear dipole antennas form a "donut-shaped" field with a hole above the protected object — this is a vulnerable zone; for dome protection, use proper antennas.
  • 4. Power — only from the included battery. Do not modify for vehicle power. If operating time is insufficient, purchase an additional battery pack.
  • 5. Avoid solutions with active cooling: fans can get clogged with dirt or break under the influence of rain/snow, leading to device failure. Choose passive cooling.
