Description

EW Jammer Hoverla 2.50 for 2 bands 2.4-5.8 GHz — Lynx development

The Hoverla 2.50 electronic warfare (EW) system is designed to neutralize unmanned aerial vehicles within its operating range by jamming UAV control and navigation systems. The Hoverla 2.50 EW jammer can be installed either stationary — to protect fixed objects (buildings, towers, fortifications) — or on a mobile platform (vehicles and armored vehicles). The device is designed to operate in the 2.4-5.8 GHz frequency range and has two operating bands, which provides a wider signal suppression zone.

Disclaimer: The EW device does not provide a 100% guarantee of suppressing all drones. This is due to the fact that unmanned aerial vehicles may use non-standard frequencies, rarely used bands, or dynamic frequency switching. It is impossible to suppress drones controlled via a fiber-optic channel with an EW system. Weather conditions and physical obstacles also affect efficiency, so deployment planning must take these factors into account.

Operating principle. The device operates by generating broadband radio frequency interference with continuous dynamic frequency retuning in a given range and amplitude modulation. This results in an interference signal with floating parameters that suppresses useful signals used by UAVs for control and navigation. Thanks to two bands and adaptive retuning, the device can effectively affect typical communication and navigation channels in the 2.4-5.8 GHz range.

2

Antenna type

Helix, cloverleaf

Casing

3 mm aluminum, impact-resistant, vibration-resistant, with protective polymer coating

Manufacturer: Lynx development. Product type: EW Jammers > Trench EW Jammers. The device combines a durable 3 mm aluminum casing, impact and vibration resistance, and a protective polymer coating, ensuring resilience in field conditions.

Key advantages and application scenarios:

  • Protection of critical objects and infrastructure from unauthorized UAVs;
  • Installation at stationary points to protect buildings, towers, and fortifications;
  • Mounting on mobile platforms — vehicles and armored vehicles — for mobile threat suppression;
  • Support for units in field conditions when operational electronic countermeasures against drones are required.

Before use, it is recommended to consider the legal and ethical restrictions on the use of electronic warfare equipment in the relevant jurisdiction and to conduct preliminary testing of the device under controlled conditions.

This description includes all available technical parameters and operational features of the Hoverla 2.50 EW jammer from Lynx development, including its weight of 5 kg, dimensions of 31 × 14 × 29 mm, two operating bands, antenna type (Helix, cloverleaf), and casing design (3 mm aluminum with protective coating).
