Firmware Compatibility
The controller supports iNAV and ArduPilot (ChiBiOS) firmware. Please note that some interface parameters and system behavior may differ depending on the chosen firmware, so the specifics of each platform should be considered during setup.
Usage Recommendations
Practical application recommendations (numbered in the list):
- 1. Use Camera-1 and Vsw functions by default for correct operation of dual-camera configurations.
- 2. When connecting two cameras, ensure both operate in the same video format: PAL or NTSC.
- 3. Be aware of port specifics: Rx5 is not supported, VB2 and CU2 are not active in INAV.
- 4. An additional BEC output can be connected to FC Vx and G pad to activate servos if the main and top BEC boards are not connected via Vbat/G/Vx.
- 5. Avoid loading OSD fonts via the MacOS INAV configurator; use the Windows version for this.
The Matek F765-WING is ideal for more complex aviation projects requiring a large number of servos, extended UART ports, and a reliable power supply with adjustable Vx for servos. Thanks to its two IMUs, SDIO BlackBox, and extensive peripheral connectivity, this stack will be the reliable heart of your aircraft or electronic winged device.
Note that some specifications may vary depending on the specific firmware platform: iNAV Flight or ArduPilot (ChiBiOS).
