The ChDB Yagi 150 antenna is a directional, collapsible Yagi-Uda antenna from the Ukrainian manufacturer ChDB (Cherkasydronbud) for ground-based TX in the 135–175 MHz range (center frequency 150 MHz). It is designed for UAV and UGV radio control systems on MIL ELRS 150, ChDB TX+RX 150 MHz kits, and control points where maximum control link range is required.
Gain 6–8 dBi, vertical polarization, impedance 50 Ohm, VSWR ≤ 1.5. Beamwidth: 60° (horizontal) / 65° (vertical). 4-element design, dimensions 104×108 cm, weight 0.25 kg, collapsible for transport.
On the Flash Army website — two separate products. Choose the configuration in the product card: without cable or with 1m coaxial cable: RG316, 50 Ohm, SMA (male) connector on the TX side; the other end of the cable is without a connector (for soldering to the antenna).
Key Features
- Type: Yagi-Uda, directional transmitting antenna for TX.
- Range 135–175 MHz (center 150 MHz), VSWR ≤ 1.5.
- Gain 6–8 dBi, impedance 50 Ohm.
- Polarization: vertical.
- Beam angle: 60° (horiz.) / 65° (vert.).
- 4 elements, collapsible design.
- Two supply options: without cable or with RG316 1m + SMA.
Key Advantages
- High gain 6–8 dBi: significantly greater range compared to a telescopic TX 150 dipole at the same frequency.
- Optimized for 150 MHz: compatible with TX V3.3 150 MIL ELRS and ChDB 150 MHz kits.
- Collapsible array: convenient transport and quick deployment in position.
- Flexible configuration: without cable (own feeder) or ready-made RG316 1m for TX.
- Vertical polarization: correct operation with onboard ChDB RX 150 MHz.
- ChDB in-house production: proven solution for long-range flights and ground control posts.
Areas of Application
- Ground-based TX V3.3 150 MIL ELRS at the control point.
- ChDB TX+RX 150 MHz radio control kits (options with Yagi antenna on TX).
- FPV and reconnaissance UAVs, UGVs on Sub-GHz 150 MHz.
- Stationary and field posts where a directional antenna is needed instead of a compact dipole.
- TX antenna upgrade to increase range in high-density airwave conditions.
Package Contents
- Option without cable: Yagi 150 antenna (collapsible).
- Option with cable: Yagi 150 antenna (collapsible) + RG316 cable 100 cm, SMA (male), one end without connector.

Operating Warnings
- Orient the Yagi towards the UAV flight zone; the antenna may need to be rotated if the operator's position changes.
- Use with TX/systems in the 150 MHz range (ChDB 150–153 MHz) — VSWR and range degrade at other frequencies.
- Maintain vertical polarization during installation and matching with onboard RX.
- For option 1019, securely solder the cable end without a connector to the antenna; for option 802, use a high-quality 50 Ohm coaxial cable.
- Tighten SMA without misalignment; do not stretch RG316 during installation.
- Keep the array away from metal structures that distort the radiation pattern.
- Store and transport the antenna disassembled to prevent damage to the elements.
The ChDB Yagi 150 antenna is a ground-based solution for maximum range at 150 MHz: 6–8 dBi, collapsible design, and choice of configuration without cable or with a ready-made RG316 1m.
