The engine is diesel, with a nominal power of 24 hp (17.65 kW), a displacement of 1531.33 cm3, a cylinder diameter / piston stroke of 85 / 90 mm, and nominal crankshaft revolutions of 2350 rpm. The starting system is an electric starter.
