The Kulbaba ST 710-950 MHz FPV control suppression system is designed to significantly increase the survival rate of vehicles from kamikaze drone attacks, as well as to protect trenches and stationary objects. This is a modular portable system from the manufacturer AWEDYNE, consisting of two independent blocks with their own enclosures, antennas, and power connectors. The system operates only from the included LiFePo4 24 V 12 Ah portable battery and is not designed to be powered from a vehicle's onboard network.
Each block has an individual antenna, designed for a specific frequency range and non-removable. This design prevents the block from being connected without an antenna and prevents damage to the amplification elements of the electronic module. The antennas have a reinforced design for increased resistance to weather conditions and vibrations during vehicle operation.
The blocks are equipped with rubber-coated neodymium magnets, allowing for very quick and reliable installation on a vehicle without additional fasteners. The operating time from one set of batteries for two blocks is approximately 2.5 hours. Powering only from the included battery is an important operational point: it is not recommended to modify the device for power from the vehicle's network; if the operating time is insufficient, an additional set of batteries and blocks should be purchased.

Before operation, consider the following recommendations and warnings:
- 1. There are many devices that visually resemble "Kulbaba" but are fakes. The original manufacturer of the "Kulbaba" system is only AWEDYNE. Carefully check the origin of the device.
- 2. Devices with multiple bands in one enclosure and multiple antennas in one enclosure often do not work correctly. Antennas must be spaced apart for correct operation – do not choose convenient solutions that reduce protection effectiveness.
- 3. Collinear dipole antennas form a "donut-shaped" field with a vulnerable zone above the protected object. For dome protection, use only proper antennas, as in this system.
- 4. Power only from the included battery. Do not modify for vehicle network power; if operating time is insufficient, purchase additional batteries.
- 5. Avoid devices with active cooling: fans and active radiators can fail due to rain, snow, or dirt, leading to overheating and device failure. Choose solutions with passive cooling, like in Kulbaba ST.
Design and Operational Features
The system consists of two modules, each with a module power of 50 W and operating in the 710-950 MHz frequency range. The system's power supply voltage is 24 V. The enclosure design provides passive cooling for the electronics and robust antenna mounts. Thanks to the well-thought-out design, the antennas are non-removable, which increases reliability in field conditions and reduces the risk of accidental damage or incorrect connection.
