EW System Kulbaba SX 710-840; 950-1010 MHz with Kulbaba Inverter
The FPV control jamming system is designed to significantly increase the chances of preserving rolling stock from kamikaze drone attacks, as well as to protect trenches and stationary objects. Kulbaba SX is a modular portable system manufactured by AWEDYNE, consisting of independent blocks: each block has its own housing, its own non-removable antenna, and a connector for power supply from the included portable LiFePo4 24 V 12 Ah battery (battery included).
Power is supplied exclusively from the portable battery: one battery set provides approximately 2.5 hours of operation for two blocks. The power supply should not be modified for the vehicle's onboard power system — the manufacturer insists on operation only with the included battery or additional included batteries/blocks if longer operation is required.
The antennas of each block are designed for a specific frequency range (710-840 MHz and 950-1010 MHz) and are non-removable, which prevents operation without an antenna and minimizes the risk of amplifier burnout. The antenna design is reinforced to maintain geometry under the influence of weather conditions and vehicle vibrations; rubber-coated neodymium magnets are used for quick and easy mounting on vehicles. The system of spaced blocks and antennas ensures correct operation of multi-block solutions and eliminates problems inherent in compact multi-band housings with other antennas.
Important Warnings
- 1. Many devices visually similar to "Kulbaba" have appeared on the market, but the original manufacturer of the system is AWEDYNE. Other products have nothing in common with this system — be careful when choosing.
- 2. Devices with multiple bands in one housing and multiple antennas in one housing often do not work correctly: antennas must be spaced apart from each other. Do not trust convenient multi-band solutions if their design contradicts the antenna spacing rule.
- 3. Collinear dipole antennas form a "donut-shaped" field with a hole above the protected object — this is a vulnerable zone. Use only correct antennas for dome protection.
- 4. Power only from the included battery. Do not modify for the vehicle's power system. If operating time is insufficient — purchase additional included batteries or blocks.
- 5. Active cooling can cause the device to fail if moisture or dirt gets in; the manufacturer strongly recommends passive cooling.
