Celox Gauze Z-Fold Hemostatic Bandage is recommended by the TCCC committee as a modern tactical bandage, folded in an accordion shape and packaged hermetically and sterilely. This option is significantly more effective than conventional rolled bandages or powdered hemostatic agents, as it provides quick, localized application without granule spillage.

Application

Celox Gauze Z-Fold can be applied to open wounds or used to pack penetrating injuries much faster, especially in conditions of strong wind, rain, stress, or fatigue when hands are trembling. Thanks to its Z-Fold shape and hermetic packaging, there is no risk of Celox granules scattering or spilling around the wound. Immediately after application, pressure must be applied for at least three minutes to create surface pressure and activate the granules.

The bandage is fully impregnated with CELOX granule hemostatic solution, so it can be used directly from the packaging, opening it segment by segment. The compact packaging allows for convenient carrying of the bandage in a military uniform pocket or a specialized pouch. Application instructions are on the back of the package and easily accessible via any of the four corners. The opening point is marked with a yellow triangle.
