EcoFlow STREAM Ultra Charging Station

EcoFlow STREAM Ultra is an intelligent all-in-one hybrid charging station that combines energy storage and a built-in microinverter in a compact Plug & Play solution. The device is designed to provide energy independence for homes: it functions as a standalone power source, a backup unit during outages, and a control center for solar generation.

Hybrid System and Operating Principle

The smart core of EcoFlow STREAM Ultra instantly captures solar energy and stores surpluses for later use. During the day, the system charges the internal battery, and at night or during peak consumption, the stored energy powers appliances directly or through the grid. Thanks to this operating mode, the device can produce up to 2,218 kWh per year, which can cover approximately 71.3% of a standard household's needs and significantly reduce electricity bills.

Solar Input and MPPT

STREAM Ultra is equipped with a dual-mode solar input with a total power of up to 2800 W. The 4 MPPT design supports direct connection of solar panels with power up to 2000 W, and is also compatible with third-party microinverters, adding up to 800 W of solar power when external microinverters are connected. This allows for maximum utilization of illuminated areas for electricity generation.

AC Output and Connectivity

The device provides an AC output of up to 2300 W. There are two AC outlets rated at 1200 W per battery with automatic boost up to 2300 W. To achieve full output power, the device can be combined with another STREAM Ultra unit or with STREAM AC Pro. The built-in battery ensures autonomous operation of appliances and reliable backup power during electricity outages.

Intelligent Energy Management

The AI-powered system monitors connected devices in real time and optimizes solar energy distribution. Load balancing between units allows for automatic redirection of energy from neighboring modules if one of them discharges. This ensures uninterrupted operation of critical appliances: for example, a refrigerator in the kitchen will continue to work thanks to energy redirected from other units in the network.
