Video Goggles for FPV Skyzone SKY04X OLED 5.0/5.8G with SteadyView Receiver

Skyzone SKY04X are currently among the most advanced FPV goggles with OLED displays.

OLED displays offer high contrast and saturation, and combined with a high resolution of 1280 x 960 and a wide 46° field of view, they deliver the best image quality, providing the most immersive FPV flight experience.

The SKY04X will suit more users as it features adjustable focal length (-6 ~ +6) for the first time, so people with vision problems will not need additional diopters. Also, for convenience, two faceplates for different face types are included in the kit.

Another huge step forward is the built-in Skyzone SteadyView 5.0/5.8G 48-channel receiver module, which is on par with expensive ImmersionRC modules in performance and functionality. The SteadyView receiver has two operating modes: Diversity and RapidMix. Diversity is the standard mode where the receiver selects the best signal from two antennas, reducing the possibility of complete signal loss. When using RapidMix mode, the receiver combines the signal from both antennas, making the image more stable and clear in challenging flight conditions. The receiver has a USB Type-C interface for firmware updates.

Previously, it was difficult to replace the standard receiver in Skyzone video goggles, but in the SKY04X, if you are not satisfied with the SteadyView receiver, you can easily swap it for any other, for example, receivers from TBS or ImmersionRC.

The complex multifunctional menu buttons used on previous Skyzone FPV goggles have disappeared and been replaced by intuitive menu scroll wheels.The built-in digital video recorder (DVR) allows recording flights as a single file for up to 30 minutes on a Micro SD memory card up to 128GB (Class 10). Unlike the S version, the Cobra X uses the modern H264 encoding format for video file recording. With the H264 codec, video files are compressed more efficiently, resulting in less quality loss and smaller file sizes. In case of sudden power loss during video recording, the recorded file will be corrupted, but the video helmet has a built-in function to recover the last corrupted file. Automatic recording can be configured to start when an image appears from the drone's FPV camera.

Like all Skyzone goggles, the SKY04X has many features and settings. The OSD menu has a wide selection of settings and presets: video receiver usage settings, DVR, video playback, Head Tracker, and image quality settings: brightness, saturation, sharpness, etc. There are presets for image enhancement: standard, vivid, saturated, soft, custom, etc.

The SKY04X comes with all necessary cables for operation, and, usefully, it can be powered directly from any 2S - 6S LiPo battery, and for the first time, from a USB 5V power source.

AV IN/OUT interfaces and HDMI input allow using the SKY04X with the FatShark Shark Byte system.
