The package construction is made of high-quality ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene Dyneema combined with durable Cordura fabric. The package cover is hermetically sealed, making it waterproof, and double seams with thermal protection increase the durability and reliability of the armor element.
Comfort and Design
The medium-elasticity material ensures comfort during prolonged wear, does not restrict movement, and minimizes the risk of injury when deflecting damaging factors. Ballistic Resistance Classes
Packages are available in two protection variants: Class 1 and Class 2. Depending on the order, a Class 1 or Class 2 variant can be implemented; currently available is Protection Class: Class 2.
Class 1 ballistic packages withstand:
- 9×18 mm (9 mm Makarov) — bullet velocity 335±10 m/s;
- 9×19 mm (9 mm Luger) — bullet velocity 335±10 m/s.
Class 2 ballistic packages withstand:
- 9×18 mm (Makarov) — bullet velocity 335±10 m/s;
- 9×19 mm (Luger) — bullet velocity 400±10 m/s;
- 7.62×25 mm (Tokarev) — bullet velocity 430±15 m/s.
The use of Dyneema provides an optimal balance of protection and weight, and also reduces the traumatic effect when deflecting damaging factors. The product has passed relevant tests and complies with the requirements of DSTU 8782:2018.
