This frame features a well-designed arm and main plate geometry: 4mm arm thickness and 2mm main plate provide sufficient rigidity without excessive weight. The 23mm height allows for mounting two-layer stacks of controllers and other components, and the 30.5 x 30.5mm mounting holes are compatible with common flight controllers. M3x28mm aluminum standoffs ensure reliable placement of stacks and the camera. The 22mm (mini) camera mounting distance allows for compact video modules with a low center of gravity.
Recommended electronics are selected depending on the chosen frame version: for smaller variants (XL5), 2204 motors and ESCs from 20A are suitable, with an approximately 1550 mAh battery; for larger ones (XL9), it is better to use motors from 2212 to 2306, 30-60A ESCs, and a battery around 3300 mAh. Please note that propellers are not included and must be selected separately according to the recommended motors and frame characteristics.
