ChDB RX 150 spiral dipole receiver antenna (945) is a receiving spiral dipole antenna from the Ukrainian manufacturer ChDB (Cherkasydronbud) for the RX onboard receiver in 150 MHz radio control systems (MIL ELRS, TX+RX 150 kits). Center frequency 150 MHz, gain 2.15 dBi, length 20 cm.
Important: the spiral dipole antenna for RX 150 must be installed only in vertical polarization — otherwise, the range and stability of communication will sharply decrease. Bandwidth with VSWR < 1.5 — 3 MHz; linear polarization, 50 Ohm, IPEX connector.
The kit includes a plastic mount (mount and mast) for installation on the UAV frame. Weight with mast — 33–35 g. Compatible with RX Mk4 150 MIL ELRS and the TX + Yagi + RX + spiral RX kit.
Key Features
- Type: spiral dipole, receiving antenna for RX.
- Operating range 150 MHz (center frequency; ChDB systems 150–153 MHz).
- Gain 2.15 dBi, impedance 50 Ohm.
- Bandwidth (VSWR < 1.5): 3 MHz.
- Polarization: linear (mandatory vertical installation).
- Antenna length: 20 cm; weight with mast: 33–35 g.
- IPEX connector; mount and mast included.
Key Advantages
- Standard for TX+RX 150: included in the Yagi + spiral RX kit (up to 43 km according to ChDB data).
- Compactness: length 20 cm, low weight on the drone frame.
- Ready-made mount: mount and mast for UAV frame included.
- Precise tuning to 150 MHz: low VSWR in the 3 MHz band.
- Compatibility with RX Mk4 150: alignment with ChDB firmware and receiver.
- ChDB in-house production: proven option for the MIL ELRS military line.
Areas of Application
- Onboard receiver RX Mk4 150 MIL ELRS on FPV/reconnaissance UAVs.

Operating Warnings
- Install the RX 150 spiral dipole antenna only in vertical polarization — this is a mandatory manufacturer requirement; horizontal or tilted installation critically degrades reception.
- Secure the mount and mast to the frame so that the antenna does not interfere with propellers and does not vibrate during flight.
- Do not bend or damage the cable near the IPEX connector.
- Ensure that TX and RX operate in the 150–153 MHz range — VSWR increases outside the 3 MHz band.
- Orient the mast perpendicular to the plane of the frame (vertical relative to the ground in a typical drone configuration).
The ChDB spiral dipole RX 150 antenna is a standard onboard solution for 150 MHz: 2.15 dBi, ready-made frame mount, and a strict requirement for vertical polarization for maximum range as part of the ChDB MIL ELRS.
