Warmor gen.4 "Pixel" Class 1 Body Armor — Lightweight and Effective Protection from Specprom

The Warmor gen.4 "Pixel" body armor from Specprom is a military model with an increased protection area, designed based on the IOTV 3 combat body armor. The design provides almost complete torso coverage thanks to an extended upper part and widened side "ears," which enhances protection against fragments, ricochets, and penetrating injuries.

In its basic configuration, the body armor consists of an enlarged plate carrier and full-size chest and back Class 1 ballistic soft armor panels (according to DSTU). The ballistic soft armor panels are made of UHMWPE (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene), which provides high ballistic efficiency with low mass — each panel weighs approximately ±1.5 kg, and the total weight of the body armor is 3.3 kg. Even without additional armor plates, the model protects against artillery fragments, grenades, and fragmentation injuries, as well as against 9×18 mm (Makarov, Luger) pistol rounds.

To enhance protection against rifle bullets and more powerful small arms, additional Class 3, 4, 5, or 6 armor plates can be installed in the internal pockets of the plate carrier. This provides a combined mode: a lightweight daily option with ballistic soft armor panels and a reinforced option with armor plates for assault or close-quarters tasks.

The plate carrier shell is made of CORDURA 1000 — a fire-resistant, ultra-durable fabric with an abrasion resistance rating of over 50,000 cycles, moisture-resistant, and low-visibility for night-vision devices. The ballistic soft armor panels provide an optimal balance between weight and protection.

• The quick-release system on the sides and shoulders allows the body armor to be removed in an emergency in a matter of seconds, which is important for providing first aid.
• The design redistributes weight to the back and abdominal muscles, not just the shoulders, which increases comfort during prolonged use.
• Removable shoulder pads — they can be removed, washed, or replaced; if necessary, the manufacturer can provide replacements.
• MOLLE webbing is located around the body armor for attaching compatible gear (pouches, first-aid kits, backpacks, etc.). Due to the increased front area, up to 4 magazines can be secured.
• The AK/AR IBV-2 compatible design ensures ease of movement, the ability to run and assume firing positions standing and prone without loss of mobility.

The weight of the ballistic soft armor panels and the materials used provide a high level of protection with minimal mass — it's hard to believe that full protection weighs only 3.3 kg. All body armor undergoes laboratory testing; test protocols are included with the product.
