The Warmor gen.4 military body armor is based on the legendary US Army IOTV 3 combat body armor and designed for maximum coverage and comfort in combat. In its basic configuration, the vest consists of an enlarged plate carrier and large-sized front and back ballistic soft armor panels. Full-size ballistic soft armor panels provide Class 1 protection according to DSTU: protection against fragmentation, ricochets, and 9×18 mm pistol rounds (Makarov and Luger). The total weight of the body armor is approximately 4 kg, making it lightweight to wear thanks to the UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) material, which forms the basis of the ballistic soft armor panels.
