The Kiborg GU gen.2 plate carrier is a modern individual body armor system from the manufacturer Kiborg, designed for compatibility with standard armor plates measuring 25x30 mm with beveled upper corners. The design allows for the use of plates up to 30 mm thick, both metal and ceramic, enabling you to customize the level of protection according to your needs.
Materials and construction: The plate carrier body is made of durable Cordura Nylon 6.6 1000D fabric with a polyurethane coating and NIR treatment to reduce visibility when using night-vision devices. The plate carrier features an improved removable front panel with a Molle system, Velcro, and Woojin carabiners for quick replacement of gear and pouches.
Comfort and Functionality
For improved ventilation, 3mm thick 3D mesh dampening inserts are used. Ergonomic adjustable shoulder straps with soft pads ensure comfort during prolonged wear. The quick-release system on the shoulders and cummerbunds allows for rapid removal of the body armor in emergency situations. The cummerbunds are divided into five sections, equipped with a Molle system and pockets for Class 1 or 2 ballistic inserts from Militex.
