This is the new black version with a maximum output power of 1W. The device uses a 5D button and runs on BETAFPV ELRS V2.0.0 firmware. The "Backpack" function has been added, allowing wireless connection between ExpressLRS and other FPV devices for control or configuration information.

Cooling and Design

The module is equipped with a cooling fan and a heatsink, which increases heat dissipation efficiency. Thanks to this, the module operates stably under load in everyday use and usually does not require additional cooling.

Compatibility and Usage

The BETAFPV Micro RF TX is compatible with transmitters that have a micro bay for an external module (JR/SLIM). Please note: DIP switches will be added to 500mW versions in the future. Always connect the antenna before use — operating without a connected antenna can lead to irreversible damage to the microchip.

Cautions and Limitations

• Connect the antenna before use. Otherwise, the microchip in the Micro TX module will be irreversibly damaged.
• Do not use a 3S battery or higher to power the TX module via the XT30 port. Otherwise, the power chip in the TX module will be irreversibly damaged.
• Do not turn on all DIP switches simultaneously. Refer to the table for correct DIP switch ON/OFF settings for different use cases.
