The "Mimic" FPV Drone Video Signal Test Simulator from BlueBird Tech is designed to check the functionality of drone detectors.
The device consists of a power and control unit, a media player, an external camera, a 3.5-inch display, and six video transmitters with antennas configured for testing drone detectors.
Power is supplied from a 230 V, 0.5 A mains. Optionally, it can be powered from a car cigarette lighter or a standalone power supply unit with a constant voltage of 12 V and a power of 80 W.
Using the video player allows working with a static image, while using the camera enables dynamic image testing.
During operation, it is recommended to:

use a UPS (uninterruptible power supply);

limit the total operating time of the simulator to 180 minutes;

use minimum power on the transmitters to check the functionality of drone detectors;

if necessary, perform manual fine-tuning of the video transmitter using a variable resistor;

for full operation of the video transmitters, place them at a distance of at least 60 cm from each other;

ensure unobstructed cooling of the video transmitters.
