It replaces outdated 8-bit and 16-bit product solutions and provides a direct upgrade to a high-speed mainstream platform based on the 32-bit Cortex®-M4 architecture. The GD32F3x0 product series features attributes such as higher frequency, more peripherals, updated functions, and lower cost. With this "small but smart" solution, it can provide greater cost-effectiveness through a lower BOM cost for cost-sensitive customers such as industrial motors, variable frequency drives, and energy-saving applications. To help customers maximize product flexibility, the GD32F3x0 series is compatible with the full range of hardware and software of the GD32F1x0 and GD32E230 series. The GD32F30x product series, based on the Cortex-M4 core, supports high-speed DSP with a maximum frequency of up to 120 MHz. It features a large capacity of 3072 KB Flash memory and 96 KB SRAM, as well as zero-wait-state core access Flash memory. It also provides up to ten 16-bit general-purpose timers, two 16-bit basic timers, and two multi-channel DMA controllers, and offers a range of basic peripheral resources for a wide variety of mainstream applications, including up to three USARTs, two UARTs, three SPIs, two I2Cs, two I2Ss, two CAN 2.0Bs, and SDIO, as well as an external memory controller (EXMC).
