M4250 switches are designed for clean integration with traditional rack-mounted AV equipment. The sleek black enclosure provides front-panel port status and activity display, with all power and network cables neatly organized at the rear. M4250 switches can also be reverse rack-mounted if required by the installer. Additional options for mounting the switch outside the rack, such as VESA mounts, are also available. M4250 switches feature pre-drilled universal threaded holes located on the bottom and front side of the switch.
The M4250 AV switch series supports the same AV functionality as the popular M4300 and M4500 switches for the industry's most popular AV-over-IP encoders and decoders. Thus, deploying multicast AV-over-IP networks with M4250 switches is a simple plug-and-play operation.
The NETGEAR AV M4250 series of fully managed switches consists of high-performance, professional, IEEE-compliant audio-video switches for audio over IP and small- to large-scale video over IP, including LED panel-based video walls.
M4250 switches come pre-configured for standard audio and video signals. The AV user interface also offers customization via port-based profiles. For Dante audio, Q-SYS and AES67 profiles are available. For video, the M4250 offers profiles for NVX, AMX, Q-SYS, NDI, Dante, and more, as well as mixed audio/video/control profiles.
