Pavo20 Pro Drone: Design and Flight Capabilities
The Pavo20 Pro is a lightweight yet powerful cinewhoop with a frame made of impact-resistant PA12 plastic and a 93.7 mm wheelbase. The aerodynamic shape of the duct channels provides better airflow efficiency and thrust increase, which positively affects flight stability. The drone weighs only 100 grams, allowing it to maintain maneuverability even with a digital video system.
Power and maneuverability are provided by LAVA 1104 7200KV motors paired with Gemfan 2218 3-blade propellers. This configuration delivers quick throttle response, linear thrust, and confident drone behavior during dynamic maneuvers. With a 2S battery, the flight time is about 5 minutes, and the thrust-to-weight ratio exceeds 5:1.
DJI O4 Video System: Drone and Goggles as One
The kit is built on the DJI O4 digital video system, where the drone and FPV goggles work as a single ecosystem.
The drone is equipped with a DJI O4 Air Unit Pro, capable of recording video in 4K 60 fps. The camera has a wide field of view, allowing it to capture more space in the frame, and the tilt angle is adjustable within 0-40°. The camera is mounted via a special bracket with rubber dampers that reduce vibrations and minimize "jello" effect in the image.
DJI Goggles 3 provide full immersion in flight thanks to Micro-OLED displays with 1920×1080 resolution, refresh rate up to 100 Hz, and high brightness. DJI O4 video transmission ensures a stable signal with low latency and automatically switches between 2.4 and 5.8 GHz bands to avoid interference.
A distinct advantage is the Real View PiP function, which allows you to quickly see the real environment without removing the goggles. This is especially convenient and safe during pre-flight preparations or between flights.
Flight Control and Management
Control is handled by RadioMaster's new TX15 remote, featuring a powerful STM32 H7 processor running EdgeTX. It is equipped with a built-in ExpressLRS module, providing stable communication with low latency and a range of up to 2 km.
The high-brightness IPS touchscreen allows comfortable menu navigation even outdoors, while the V5.0 Hall-sensor gimbals ensure precise and smooth control. The built-in gyroscope enables function control via remote tilt, and an efficient cooling system guarantees stable operation under load.
Power and Charging
The kit includes power for both the drone and the remote. The drone uses BetaFPV LAVA 2S 450mAh 75C batteries, manufactured with Z-Folding technology, which ensures high energy density, stable voltage, and good current output.
