The system's launch initiation operates automatically using the NW0 acoustic sensor. ZVOOK NW0 is a tactical acoustic sensor for detecting enemy FPV drones by the sound of their operation. The device is equipped with artificial intelligence that continuously analyzes the 360-degree acoustic environment and instantly reacts to the appearance of an aerial threat.
The sensor has a high level of protection against dust, water, and mechanical impact (IP67), allowing its use in difficult combat and weather conditions. The system supports remote firmware updates, thanks to which the device is constantly improved to account for new types of threats.
Upon detecting an enemy FPV drone, the acoustic sensor automatically activates the launch of 2 rotating mechanisms connected by concertina wire.
When creating optical fiber, the wire is wound, which can lead to its breakage and the drone's fall.
The acoustic sensor is a key element in this system, as the rotating mechanism is only launched when a real threat approaches. This, in turn, significantly increases the system's autonomy and eliminates the need for an additional operator who would constantly monitor the air situation and manually activate the device. The sensor's detection range is identical to the 400 meters of concertina wire stretched between the rotating mechanisms, making these two elements of the system integral.
This solution is actively used by units in combat conditions due to its effectiveness, unpretentiousness to weather conditions, and autonomy. It provides coverage for a 400-500 meter perimeter. The system can initiate EW jammers in automatic mode. The batteries are insulated for correct operation in winter.
