The mounted disc harrow is designed for shallow, no-till, continuous soil cultivation. The disc harrow is attached to the three-point hitch mechanism at the rear of the tractor.
Disc harrowing precedes plowing. It is carried out to break up plant residues, loosen the soil, conserve moisture, incorporate crop residues, pests, and pathogens of cultivated plants, and weed seeds into the soil to stimulate their germination. Subsequent plowing buries the germinated weeds to a greater depth, causing them to die. Disc harrowing significantly reduces the mechanical energy required for plowing, which, in turn, considerably saves fuel consumption during subsequent plowing.
The advantages of our disc harrows include:
- simple and reliable design;
- increased weight;
- increased profile tube thickness;
- improved painting;
- improved welding.
