The Ajax DoorProtect Plus wireless magnetic door/window opening sensor with shock and tilt sensor is designed to detect the opening of doors, windows, etc. The sensor reacts to opening, changes in tilt angle, and impacts (sensitivity level is adjustable). An external wired NC contact sensor can be connected to DoorProtect Plus via a remote terminal. Structurally, the sensor consists of two parts - a magnet and a block with a reed switch. As soon as the door on which the sensor is installed opens, the magnet moves away from the reed switch, the contacts open, and the reed switch stops conducting current. When the door closes, the reverse processes occur. In both cases, the sensor triggers and instantly sends an alarm message to the central unit. The tilt sensor built into the device detects a deviation of more than 5° in the vertical plane. DoorProtect Plus can be installed on any windows, including skylights. Its presence allows the system to be armed with windows open for ventilation (the magnetic sensor must be disabled in the settings).
