BetaFPV ELRS Micro TX 915MHz 500mW External Module — Compact Radio Module for Transmitters

The BetaFPV ELRS Micro TX external radio module is a compact yet powerful solution for drone pilots who require reliable long-range control. The module is built on the ExpressLRS project, ensuring ultra-low latency and high link stability. Operating at 915MHz FCC with an output power of up to 500mW provides better signal penetration in interference conditions compared to the 2.4GHz band and allows for ranges comparable to or greater than 1W at 2.4GHz.

The module features a convenient 5D button for menu navigation and settings. For power and firmware updates, a built-in USB Type-C connector is provided, which can also be used for power from a power bank or power supply. For direct power, the module has an XT30 port supporting a 5V~12V range; a 2S battery (8.4V) is recommended. Warning: 3S (12.6V) or higher is NOT supported via the XT30 port — this can lead to irreversible damage to the power chip.

Warnings and Recommendations

• Connect the antenna before use. Running the module without an antenna connected will result in irreversible damage to the RF chip.
• Do not use a 3S battery or higher via the XT30 port. Exceeding the recommended voltage will damage the module.
• Do not turn on all DIP switches simultaneously. Refer to the table below and set the DIP switch positions according to the operating mode or firmware update.
