The ZBROIA Kozak FC 450/230 PCP Air Rifle (cal. 4.5 mm, black) is a modern Ukrainian pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) air rifle, created by ZBROIA as a continuation of the "Kozak" line with numerous design and mechanical improvements.

Proprietary Barrel

The Kozak FC 450/230 model is equipped with a proprietary 450 mm barrel with twelve grooves. The company's barrels demonstrate high repeatability of accurate shots and minimal dispersion. The caliber of this model is 4.5 mm (.177'). The barrel twist is specified as 450, and the barrel is rifled, ensuring a stable shot group.

High-Pressure Reservoir

The high-pressure (HP) reservoir is proprietary to ZBROIA. The reservoir volume is 230 cm3, and the working pressure is 30 MPa (300 kgf/cm2). Each reservoir undergoes verification before installation, with a corresponding document included in the kit. The reservoir is equipped with a Wika manometer and a regulator, which ensures maximum energy repeatability for each shot. The filling port is located under the cap and has a diameter of 6 mm. Two fittings are included for filling: a threaded one and a quick-disconnect one. The reservoir is not quick-detachable.

Multi-Shot Capability and Main Rifle Mechanisms

The rifle comes with two 12-round magazines for 4.5 mm pellets each, ensuring convenient multi-shot operation. The trigger mechanism (TM) is shifted closer to the buttstock, making the design more compact; the cylinder is recessed into the buttstock and has a volume of 230 cm3. The TM is made of high-quality weapon-grade steel and features adjustable trigger pull force and travel length. For safety, a manual blocker is provided to prevent accidental discharge.

Bullpup Configuration

The buttstock is designed in a full-size bullpup configuration, ensuring a comfortable and firm grip on the rifle. The stock and buttstock are made of wood. Tripods can be installed on the special tripod plane included in the kit, if necessary. Sights are not included in the basic configuration.
