LineProtect is a module designed to protect Fibra lines and devices from sabotage using electric current. If an intruder attempts to damage the security system, for example, by striking a StreetSiren Fibra with a stun gun, LineProtect will absorb the impact. All devices between LineProtect and the hub will continue to operate. The module can be installed at any point on the Fibra line. The output line from LineProtect can be up to 2000 m long. LineProtect inherits all the advantages of smart Ajax devices, including remote control. LineProtect can be configured and tested from anywhere in the world using Ajax apps, and device event notifications can be received.

LineProtect Fibra protects the hub and wired Ajax devices from sabotage when an intruder causes a short circuit, applies 110/230 V~ voltage, or uses stun gun strikes. The module monitors the input and output voltage on the Fibra line. As soon as LineProtect detects anomalous voltage on the line, the module activates fuses and stops supplying current to devices located between LineProtect and the hub. Please note: LineProtect does not protect devices between the module and the end of the line.

LineProtect is installed in a Case. This enclosure features optimal cable routing channels, special holders for the module, and a tamper. Cases are available in several versions.

You can install one LineProtect module or several devices in the enclosure. The necessary minimum number of enclosures can be selected to meet the object's needs, allowing for budget savings and faster security system installation.

LineProtect is designed for rapid response to threats, giving intruders no chance to sabotage the security system. We have developed a unique software algorithm for analyzing the line to which LineProtect is connected. During the line power test, the module receives sufficient information to set its threshold values for detecting short circuits and normal voltage. The algorithm considers all critical parameters to select optimal thresholds for maximum system protection.

Fibra is a protocol for fast and secure two-way communication between the hub and devices. Based on the bus connection method, Fibra instantly transmits alarms with a large amount of data: security companies and users know which device triggered, when, and where it happened.

Under maximum load, the module consumes no more than 0.17 W. Thanks to low power consumption, more devices can be connected to a single Fibra line, and wired communication can be extended.

Fibra communication operates on the TDMA principle and involves regular polling of devices by the hub at a set frequency. The rest of the time, the communication modules of the devices are inactive. This significantly reduces power consumption and helps avoid interference even when several devices communicate with the hub simultaneously.
