The Fenix UC35 V2.0 uses a Cree XP-L HI V3 LED with a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours and a maximum brightness of up to 1000 lumens. Thanks to an optimized optical system with a smooth reflector and hardened mineral glass with anti-reflective coating, the flashlight produces a focused beam with an intensity of up to 17,000 cd and an illumination range of up to 266 meters.
The flashlight is equipped with a built-in digital current stabilizer that maintains stable light output as the battery gradually discharges. For safe operation, a built-in thermal controller is provided: when the body temperature reaches 60°C, the flashlight automatically reduces maximum power until it returns to a safe temperature range. The design also includes a well-thought-out cooling system.
Control is implemented using two buttons: the rubberized tail switch provides quick access to Turbo and Strobe modes, while the head switch changes modes and includes a charge level indicator (a pair of green and red LEDs). A memory function is present — when turned on, the flashlight returns to the last selected mode.
The package includes a proprietary Fenix ARB-L18-3500 Li-ion battery (3500 mAh) and a USB cable for charging via the built-in micro-USB port. It can also be powered by any compatible 18650 battery (3.6–3.7 V), a pair of CR123A lithium batteries, or two LiFePO4 16340 batteries (note that the Fenix UC35 V2.0 does not charge LiFePO4 16340 in built-in mode).
The body is made of aircraft-grade aluminum alloy with an HA III hard-anodized surface and special knurling for better grip. Thanks to high-quality assembly and durable materials, the flashlight can withstand drops from a height of up to 1 meter and prolonged submersion in water up to 2 meters deep (IP68 protection class). The device's weight without batteries is — 89 g.
