Please note! Turbo mode runtime is calculated based on prior operation in less bright modes. When the internal electronics heat up, overheat protection is activated, which may reduce brightness to prevent damage.
Power Source and Charging
The package includes a proprietary Fenix ARB-LP1900 Li-pol battery with a capacity of 1900 mAh, which charges via a USB Type-C port located at the bottom of the housing and covered by a protective cap. Four colored indicators under the lenses allow you to monitor the battery charge level and receive warnings about the need for recharging. If necessary, three AAA batteries (alkaline or Ni-MH) can be used instead of the proprietary battery, but the charge level indication does not work with alternative power sources.
Design, Mounting, and Protection
The model's housing is sealed to IP66 standard, making the headlamp reliable during rain or snowfall. The design withstands drops from a height of 1 m, so the device has adequate impact resistance for field conditions. The head strap has reflective inserts and is equipped with a two-way SPORT adjustment system, allowing quick length changes of the elastic band by simply rotating the adjuster. Additionally, an emergency whistle is located on the strap to attract attention in a critical situation.
