Model Description
The Fenix TK26R is a tactical flashlight with a peak light output of up to 1500 lumens and a maximum beam distance of 350 meters. The model operates on either one 18650 battery or two CR123A batteries and features built-in USB Type-C charging (charging cable included). The lighting system uses Cree diodes (for red and green light) and Luminus for cool white light; the diode lifespan is up to 50,000 hours.
Operating Modes
- Turbo — 1500 lumens, runtime 1 hr 25 min, distance 350 m.
- Max — 350 lumens, 4 hr 40 min, distance 170 m.
- Mid — 150 lumens, 10 hr 50 min, distance 110 m.
- Min — 10 lumens, 100 hours, distance 30 m.
- Strobe — intense flash, peak brightness 1500 lumens.
- Red mode — 150 lumens, 4 hr 20 min, distance 30 m.
- Green mode — 200 lumens, 5 hr 10 min, distance 40 m.
Please note: the stated runtimes are obtained under laboratory conditions at a temperature of approximately 21±3 °C and humidity of 50–80%, using an ARB-L18-3400 (18650) battery. The Fenix TK26R has seven lighting modes and an automatic memory function for the last mode (except strobe). To protect against overheating, automatic brightness reduction is provided when the temperature exceeds 65 °C.
Controls
The flashlight is equipped with three buttons: a round tactical tail switch for quick on/off, an oval tail switch for mode selection, and a side switch on the head for color change (white/red/green). A short press of the tactical switch activates momentary mode, a full press (until a click) — locks it on. Strobe mode is activated by pressing and holding the functional tail switch for less than one second.
Charge Indicator
Battery status is indicated by the color in the center of the button: 85–100% — constant green light; 50–85% — flashing green; 25–50% — constant red; less than 25% — flashing red (charging required).
Reliability and Protection
The body is made of A6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum with a Type III hard-anodized finish, resistant to abrasions. The flashlight features toughened ultra-clear glass with an anti-reflective coating. The IPX68 protection standard guarantees submersion up to 2 meters for 30 minutes; impact resistance from a 1 m drop.
