Application: The Individual Sterile Hemostatic Dressing (IPPK) from TM "Bilosnizhka" is designed for providing first medical aid for wounds, dressing wounds, and applying effective pressure to the source of bleeding. This is a Ukrainian analog of the Israeli bandage, developed for quick and reliable bleeding control in field and emergency conditions.
Design Description: The IPPK consists of an elastic bandage, one or two absorbent pads, and plastic fasteners (C-shaped clip and a clamp for securing the bandage). In the single-pad version, the pad is sewn to the elastic bandage; in the two-pad version, one of the pads is movable and is used for through-and-through wounds to apply better localized pressure.
Absorbent Pad Sizes: available options are 10 cm × 18 cm, 15 cm × 18 cm, or 30 cm × 30 cm, allowing selection of the dressing according to the size and nature of the wound.
Features of the 30×30 cm Pad Model: a polyethylene film is sewn onto this pad, which can be used as an occlusive dressing on the chest in cases of suspected pneumothorax, increasing the practical versatility of the IPPK in tactical medicine.
Fixation and Pressure: plastic fasteners are designed to create additional pressure on the wound (C-shaped clip) and to reliably secure the elastic bandage (clamp). This ensures the stability of the dressing even during movement or evacuation of the injured person.
Packaging and Sterility: each IPPK is manufactured in a sterile version and has double vacuum packaging, which guarantees additional sterility safety. An additional advantage of the double packaging is the possibility of using the outer packaging as an occlusive dressing on the chest for pneumothorax.
