Compression Bandage IPPK (15/18) — Sterile Hemostatic Dressing «Bilosnizhka», with 1 pad
Manufacturer: Bilosnizhka
Category: Tactical Medicine > First Aid Supplies > Tourniquets and Bandages
Application: The individual sterile hemostatic dressing (hereinafter - IPPK) TM «Bilosnizhka» is designed for providing first medical aid for wounds, for dressing wounds, and for applying effective pressure to the source of bleeding. This is a Ukrainian analog of the Israeli bandage, developed for quick and reliable bleeding control in tactical medicine and civilian emergency care.
Product Description: The IPPK consists of an elastic bandage, one absorbent pad (in this configuration), and plastic fasteners. The plastic fasteners include a C-shaped (Z-shaped) clip for creating additional pressure on the wound and a clamp for secure fixation of the elastic bandage. The design can have one or two pads of the same size; in the one-pad version, it is sewn to the elastic bandage, and in the two-pad version, one of them is movable and used for through-and-through wounds.
Pad Sizes:
- 10 cm × 18 cm
- 15 cm × 18 cm (this product's configuration)
- 30 cm × 30 cm (has an additional polyethylene film)
The 30 cm × 30 cm pad has a polyethylene film sewn onto it, which can be used as an occlusive dressing on the chest in case of suspected pneumothorax, making the IPPK a versatile tool not only for stopping bleeding but also for temporary sealing of a chest wound.
Packaging and Sterility: The products are manufactured in a sterile version and have double vacuum packaging, which provides an increased guarantee of sterility. An additional advantage of the double packaging is that the outer packaging can be used in emergency conditions as an occlusive dressing on the chest for pneumothorax.
Advantages of IPPK «Bilosnizhka»:
- Quick and effective control of arterial and venous bleeding;
- Universal pad sizes for wounds of various depths and areas;
- Possibility of use as an occlusion for pneumothorax (30×30 variant and outer packaging);
- Easy fixation thanks to the C-shaped clip and bandage clamp;
- Sterile double packaging — additional protection during transportation and storage.
Selection Recommendations: For small wounds, 10×18 or 15×18 pads are suitable; for large or through-and-through wounds, it is advisable to use the two-pad variant or the 30×30 pad with a protective film. If additional sealing of chest wounds in the field is necessary, pay attention to configurations with a polyethylene film or use the outer vacuum packaging as an occlusion.
Areas of Application: military and tactical medicine, emergency medical care, rescue services, outpatient and hospital care in field conditions.
