Vydun 8.2 Drone Detector

"Vydun 8.2" is a modern four-band FPV drone detector that scans all bands simultaneously. The device intercepts video signals at frequencies: 910–2200, 2200–4040, 4867–6100, and 6000-8200 MHz. With a range of up to 4000 m and full 360° circular coverage, this detector provides military and civilians with an advantage for early detection of aerial threats.

Most detectors on the market are limited to narrow bands (≈1–1.8, 2.8–4.0, or 4.8–6.0 GHz). In contrast, "Vydun 8.2" provides significantly wider airwave visibility: 910–2200, 2200–4040, 4867–6100, and 6000-8200 MHz. The device analyzes all four bands simultaneously, without the need for manual channel switching. This reduces reaction time and increases the chances of timely danger notification.

Two proprietary scanning algorithms:

• Fast grid mode: designed for instant airwave monitoring based on an up-to-date frequency database (which is regularly updated).
• Step-by-step mode: provides deep analysis of the radio space with a 10 MHz step (the step value can be adjusted independently).

A full scanning cycle takes only 3 to 20 seconds, depending on the level of environmental noise and the selected search algorithm.

Two displays ensure full control over the situation. The main large 4.3-inch screen displays intercepted video from an enemy drone in real time. To save battery power, the screen automatically turns off if there is no active video signal. The auxiliary small display is designed to show operating settings and the frequency of the detected signal. If necessary, the operator can output the image to an external monitor or laptop via an RCA to AV connector.

The detector is equipped with an active cooling system that maintains a stable temperature of internal components even during prolonged operation and high load. This increases the reliability of the device and ensures stable performance.

The detector is designed for uninterrupted operation in field conditions. The built-in high-capacity 10000 mAh (7.4 V) battery provides up to 5 hours of autonomous operation during long combat missions. Internal components are reliably protected by a shock-resistant PETG plastic casing with IP54 moisture and dust protection standard. The convenient form factor (17x14x4.5 cm) and light weight (0.9 kg) allow the device to be integrated into equipment without undue discomfort.

Forget about false positives from phones, two-way radios, or routers. Intelligent algorithms effectively filter out civilian background noise (LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth), reacting exclusively to real threats.

Active cooling:
The built-in active cooling system maintains the optimal operating temperature of the device even during prolonged scanning and operation in hot conditions. This increases the stability of the electronics.
