Welding Machine Vitals MIG-1300 NG
Description of Vitals "MIG-1300 NG" Welding Machine
The "MIG-1300 NG" welding machine is an inverter-type welding machine designed for:
- manual arc welding of steel products with direct current of direct or reverse polarity ("MMA" mode);
- semi-automatic arc welding in "FCAW" mode of carbon and low-alloy steels without the use of a protective atmosphere with reverse polarity;
- manual arc welding of stainless steel, non-ferrous metals and their alloys using a non-consumable (tungsten) electrode with filler rod and a protective atmosphere of inert gases (argon) ("TIG Lift" mode).
In addition to high reliability and performance, the "MIG-1300 NG" welding machine has a number of other advantages, including:
"Force Arc" (arc force) — helps to improve welding quality.
The function is activated automatically during welding when there is a possibility of arc breakage, causing an additional short-term increase in welding current (in the form of a flash), which ensures arc stability and uniform metal transfer from the electrode to the weld, after which all welding parameters return to the set values.
"Hot Start" (hot start) — peak current at the moment of arc ignition for a smooth start.
The function activates automatically and helps easy arc ignition with a short-term current increase, after which all welding parameters return to the set values, allowing the process to reach the working level almost immediately, improving weld quality at the start of welding, and also helping to ignite poor electrodes, weld corroded metal, or during unstable mains voltage.
- "Anti Stick" (anti-sticking) — a protective function that activates in case of prolonged contact of the electrode with the workpiece without a welding arc, exceeding a limit (usually no more than 0.6 s). This ensures easy arc ignition and reduces spatter.
- The "VRD" function reduces the output voltage to approximately 20 V in the no-load transient state to a safe level, eliminating the risk of electric shock.
- Overheat protection system (forced cooling). During prolonged and intensive welding in high ambient temperatures, the machine's overheat protection system may activate — the welding circuit is switched off to prevent damage to the machine, the "Overheat" indicator light on the front panel illuminates, and simultaneously the welding machine's cooling system continues to operate (forced cooling). The welding machine will resume operation automatically after the product cools down, indicated by the "Overheat" indicator light turning off.
- "IGBT PROTECT" short-circuit protection system — built on power module technology using IGBT transistors, which reduce electromagnetic interference and low power losses, thereby enabling effective control of energy flow in inverter machines.
- Microprocessor welding control.
- Welding modes: "MMA", "FCAW", "TIG Lift".
- Easy arc ignition.
- Stable arc.
- Welding current modulation.
