Welding Machine Vitals Master MIG 1400 SN
Description of Vitals Master MIG 1400 SN Welding Machine
The Vitals Master MIG 1400 SN semi-professional welding machine is designed for semi-automatic arc welding in a shielding gas environment (MIG-MAG), as well as for working with flux-cored self-shielding wire in NO GAS mode. It is an excellent, reliable assistant in a garage, car service, or production facility. The machine is used in auto repair, construction, small-scale production, and during the installation of metal structures.
Thanks to its long duty cycle at maximum currents, the welding machine is perfectly suited for both professional and household use. The well-visualized control of all important welding parameters on the front panel allows for setting up the semi-automatic machine for a wide range of welding tasks.
The Vitals Master MIG 1400 SN welding machine can operate in three modes: MMA, MIG-MAG, Lift-Tig.
MMA mode (Manual Metal Arc) is manual electric arc welding using coated electrodes. In an electric arc, the electrode melts and forms a weld. The coating protects the welding zone from air, prevents metal oxidation, and remains at the weld site in the form of slag.
MIG-MAG (Metal Inert/Active Gas) is arc welding with a consumable metal electrode (wire) in an inert or active shielding gas environment with automatic filler wire feed. This semi-automatic welding in a shielding gas environment is the most versatile and widespread welding method in industry.
Lift-Tig mode (contact arc ignition) is used for argon arc welding with a tungsten electrode. The arc is ignited by touching the tungsten electrode to the surface of the workpiece, followed by a smooth lift until an arc of the desired size is obtained. This function ensures smooth and fast ignition, stabilizes the arc, preserves the sharpening angle of the electrode, and prevents "tungsten contamination" of the weld pool. This mode allows for obtaining beautiful, strong, and reliable welds with uniform penetration of the metal thickness.
An additional advantage of the machine is its ability to weld even under significant drops in mains voltage. The Vitals Master MIG 1400 SN can operate when the voltage drops to 160 volts.
The use of modern developments and technologies guarantees excellent performance and durability of the machine, with a warranty period of 36 months.
Arc Force Function (ForceArc)
The welding current strength is adjusted automatically — depending on the distance between the electrode and the metal. Specifically, arc force (increase in welding current) occurs at the moment a metal droplet separates from the electrode. This reduces the likelihood of sticking and increases arc stability.
Hot Start Function
For a smooth start, the "Hot Start" function is implemented. At the moment of ignition, the welding machine automatically increases the current strength, which ensures easy arc ignition. After this, the current strength returns to the set parameters.
Anti-stick Function (Antistick)
Designed for easy detachment of the electrode if it sticks. When the electrode sticks to the metal, a short circuit occurs. If the duration of the short circuit reaches 0.6 seconds, the machine reduces the current to a minimum. This protects the electrode from melting and the coating from flaking off, reduces spatter formation, and allows for easy detachment of the electrode to continue work.
Lift-Tig Mode (Contact Arc Ignition)
Used for argon arc welding with a tungsten electrode. The arc is ignited by touching the tungsten electrode to the surface of the workpiece, followed by a smooth lift until an arc of the desired size is obtained. This ensures smooth and fast ignition, arc stabilization, preservation of the electrode sharpening angle, and prevents "tungsten contamination" of the weld pool. This mode allows for obtaining beautiful, strong, and reliable welds with uniform penetration of the metal thickness.
