Design Features:

• Two flaps with snap and hook-and-loop closure ensure secure closing while allowing quick access;
• A convenient webbing pull tab allows for one-handed extraction of the pouch;
• A small Velcro strip is sewn onto the outer flap for attaching an identifier;
• Two strips of soft hook-and-loop material are sewn onto the longitudinal edges of the inner flaps, to which the main flap attaches;
• A transverse Velcro "tongue" is sewn at the bottom, holding the flaps together and providing additional support for the tourniquet;
• Gusseted sides allow the pouch to expand when filled;
• The back panel is reinforced with a plastic insert to maintain shape under load;
• The pouch attaches to gear via the MOLLE system; extended free ends of two webbing loops fasten with a snap and hook-and-loop, and can serve as attachments for scissors or allow horizontal belt carry;
• Two elastic loops are located on the side for a marker used to note the tourniquet application time;
• Areas of highest stress are stitched with double or triple seams, and internal seams are finished with binding tape for increased reliability.
