Kiborg Lumbar Protection with Militex Class 1 Ballistic Package, Coyote
The Kiborg lumbar protection from the Kiborg brand is a well-designed cover for a ballistic package from the Ukrainian manufacturer Militex, intended for reliable protection of the lumbar area when used with military equipment. The MILITEX armor package withstood shots from:
- 9x18 mm pistol bullet (velocity 341±1 m/s) with a spherical head part with a steel non-heat-treated core in a steel jacket, clad with tombac, cartridge 57-N-181s (Makarov pistol);
- 9x19 mm Luger bullet (velocity 401±1 m/s) in a full metal jacket of copper alloy with a hemispherical nose part with a soft (lead) core in accordance with the requirements of clauses 6.1.2, 7.1.1, table 1 of DSTU 8782:2018, for Class 1 protection; maximum backface deformation – 20.0 mm.

A MOLLE system is provided on the back side, allowing for attachment of a sleeping mat or other auxiliary equipment.
