Volter Parus-14 — Single-Phase Voltage Stabilizer
Parus-14 is a single-phase voltage stabilizer for an apartment or house with a maximum power of 14 kW, belonging to the Volter Parus series. It is designed to provide stabilized voltage to all types of electrical consumers when powered from a grid with unsatisfactory voltage quality. This is a double-conversion device without energy storage.
The stabilizer ensures that the output voltage is unaffected by both changes and surges in the input voltage and changes in load. To achieve this, it contains a reference voltage source with grid frequency and a stable value, against which the stabilizer's output voltage is continuously compared.
Thanks to this design, the stabilizer does not react even to very sharp, almost instantaneous changes in input voltage and reacts very quickly to any changes in load.
Independence from load type is also implemented — the stabilizer works equally well with active, capacitive, and inductive loads, provided the output current does not exceed the permissible value.
