Frequently asked questions about products in this category Military Two-Way Radio Pouches
A two-way radio pouch is a separate case on your gear that holds the radio snugly and prevents it from dangling while on the move. It is used to keep the radio from snagging on other attachments and to keep it readily accessible.
These pouches are essential for effective communication on the move. When a two-way radio is attached separately, it's easier to access, doesn't get lost among other gear, and in open-top models, buttons and controls remain accessible without full removal. This is more convenient both during training and in harsher conditions where speed of operation with the radio is critical.
There is no single correct place here. Such pouches are attached to body armor, plate carriers, belts, and sometimes to a strap or backpack shoulder strap — depending on where the two-way radio is easier to access and where it interferes less with movement.
MOLLE is most often used here because such a pouch is easier to properly attach to already assembled gear. But it's not limited to that: there are models with fastex buckles, snaps, Velcro, and even carabiners, so it's best to choose the attachment method based on your own kit.
The colors here are quite practical: multicam, olive, pixel, coyote, black. There are also khaki, dark green, and camouflage, if you need to assemble a kit to match existing gear, rather than searching for a color separately from everything else.
There is no one-size-fits-all here. Most models are designed for small two-way radios, but the exact fit still needs to be checked against your specific radio: even radios similar in shape may fit differently. For example, one of the pouches has stated dimensions of 14 × 7.5 cm.
For such pouches, dense synthetics are most often used, which hold their shape and tolerate friction well. In this segment, Cordura, Oxford, and nylon are common, and in some models, Cordura is explicitly stated as the main material.
Simple models now start at about UAH 170. Many options are in the UAH 200–650 range, and some more expensive belt pouches reach about UAH 1,000. The price here varies depending on the fabric, rigidity of the design, brand, and method of attachment.
At Flash Army, you can find two-way radio pouches for various radio models and mounting systems. Before placing an order, it's best to immediately verify the size, attachment method, and installation location to ensure the pouch fits correctly with the specific kit it will be used with.
