Vydun Drone Detector
"Vydun" is a specialized device for detecting unmanned aerial vehicles by intercepting analog video communication channels and scanning control frequencies. The device allows for early detection of aerial threats within the system's 360° range at a distance of up to 4000 meters.
The device operates in two directions: scanning video channels (910–2200 MHz, 2200–4940 MHz, 4867–6184 MHz ranges) and detecting LoRa control signals (150–950 MHz, 1900–2100 MHz, 2400–2500 MHz). The scanning speed ranges from 3 to 20 seconds, depending on the air's noise level.
For operator convenience, "Vydun" is equipped with two displays. The large screen is designed to display intercepted video signals from the drone's camera in real time. The small screen shows service information, frequencies, and settings. The small screen also displays the spectrogram of LoRa signal detection. If no video signal is present, the large screen automatically turns off to save battery power. The device supports image output to external monitors or PCs via a USB to AV connector (digital/analog output).
The video detector is designed for long-term operation in field conditions. The built-in 10000 mAh (7.4 V) battery provides 6–8 hours of continuous operation. The casing is made of durable PETG plastic with IP54 protection, safeguarding the electronics from dust and splashes. The device weighs only 0.9 kg, and its compact dimensions (17x14x4.5 cm) make it convenient for transport.
Key Advantages
Wide Frequency Range:
The device scans video signals in the 910-2200 MHz, 2200-4940 MHz, 4867-6184 MHz ranges and searches for LoRa packets at 150-950 MHz, 1900-2100 MHz, 2400-2500 MHz frequencies.
Wireless Software Updates:
Supports firmware updates over the internet using a Wi-Fi access point (SSID).
Powerful Battery Life:
Equipped with a 10000 mAh battery, providing 6 to 8 hours of device operation on a single charge.
Spectrogram:
In scanning mode, it displays a graphical frequency spectrum analyzer (150-950, 1900-2100, 2400-2500 MHz) at the bottom of the screen to search for and display LoRa signals.
Two Functional Screens:
The large screen is used to display the intercepted video signal, and the small screen is for outputting service information, settings, and system status.
Operating Range up to 4000 m:
Provides signal recognition range (video and LoRa) up to 4 km, depending on terrain and drone transmitter power.
LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, Civilian Frequency Filtering:
Filters out household signals so the device does not react to phones and routers, but only alerts to real threats.
