Important: DO NOT REUSE. The tourniquet is intended for single use — after use, it must be replaced with a new one.
Application and safety rules: The principle of the tourniquet is to create sufficient pressure above the level of vascular injury to stop arterial or venous bleeding. The tourniquet is applied above the wound site and tightened until bleeding completely stops. Then, the windlass is secured, and the application time is marked on the marking field. It is important to remember that a tourniquet should not remain on a limb for more than 1-2 hours, as prolonged application can cause tissue damage and impaired blood supply. After applying the tourniquet, continuous monitoring of the victim's condition and urgent medical attention are required.
The product has been laboratory tested, passed trials in challenging conditions, and holds valid quality certificates confirming compliance with stated technical specifications and reliability in real-world applications.
This tourniquet is recommended for inclusion in: tactical or vehicle first-aid kits, first-aid kits for work at height and in field conditions, and kits for rescuers and volunteers.
