Purpose and advantages of the simulator
The Chaika-M is designed to train and improve shooting skills against aerial targets, which most often pose a danger to soldiers on the battlefield, and increases the chances of survival in critical situations.
The MGM (weapon mock-up) simulates the feel of real equipment, enhancing realism and training effectiveness.
Scenarios are designed to simulate real-life drone situations, training the user in various conditions and from different angles. More than 220 different scenarios, developed in close cooperation with combat units.
Based on Meta Quest 3, providing an immersive VR experience.
Constant and systematic training with "Chaika M" ensures personal and team safety.
Allows for repeated training without the use of live ammunition. Virtual training saves resources and allows for increased training time without depleting supplies.
Weapon types available in the simulator:

M16A1
Automatic fire, 3-round burst fire, and single-shot fire capabilities are implemented. There is a choice between 5.56×45 mm cartridges: BALL M193 (full metal jacket bullet with lead core weighing 3.56 g) and 5.56×45 mm TRACER M196 (tracer bullet weighing 3.43 g). The ballistics of different bullet types vary in the simulator. The simulator allows for the installation of a red-dot sight or choosing to shoot with factory mechanical (open) sights.
AK-74
Automatic fire and single-shot fire capabilities are implemented. There is a choice between 5.45×39 mm cartridges: PS (steel core bullet weighing 3.4 g) and 5.45×39 mm T (tracer bullet weighing 3.23 g). The ballistics of different bullet types vary in the simulator. The simulator allows for the installation of a red-dot sight or choosing to shoot with factory mechanical (open) sights.
Browning A5 Wicked Wing
12-gauge. Shoots birdshot. The simulator allows for the installation of a red-dot sight or choosing to shoot with factory mechanical (open) sights.
Benelli M4 Super 90
A commercial civilian model with a 5+1 magazine capacity is implemented. 12/70 gauge. Shoots birdshot. The simulator allows for the installation of a red-dot sight or choosing to shoot with factory mechanical (open) sights.
Aerial enemies

FPV drones
Realistic flight altitudes, speeds, and trajectories. Simulates searching for the shooter, can maneuver sharply, and attacks from unexpected directions.
Molniya-1
Realistic flight altitudes, speeds, and trajectories.
Mavic 3
Realistic flight altitudes, speeds, and trajectories. Can hover in place.
Zala Lancet
Realistic flight altitudes, speeds, and trajectories.
-
Realism and full immersion in virtual reality
Accurate weapon mock-ups with realistic weight
A mass-dimensional mock-up, specifically designed to fix the correct position of the aiming bar relative to the shooter's eye in the virtual world during shooting. Weapons in the virtual world look realistic and accurate in proportion to the real world.
-
Ammunition savings and reduced training time
To learn how to set the lead angle for shooting at a high-speed target, over 4000 shots are needed — this is how many shots skeet/trap shooters fire to automate the skill — years of training. For the initial formation of stable intuitive shooting skills at moving targets, 4 to 5 hours of training with the "Chaika-M" simulator are required (depending on individual abilities).
-
Training scenarios — from simple to complex
Pre-designed exercises for skill development
Scenarios are designed to simulate real situations, with different weapons and various aerial enemies (over 80 different scenarios).
-
Convenience and mobility in use
Can be used anywhere and in any room
Full mobility and autonomy. Works in a dugout, classroom, under a canopy, without the need for internet or complex infrastructure.
-
Instructor station available
The instructor can see what the shooter sees (prompt, guide, launch necessary exercises). To do this, before starting training, connect the VR headset to a tablet or laptop (computer, projector) via an internal network, using the router included in the kit (internet is not required).
-
Possibility of simultaneous group training
The simulator includes additional software that enables group training on multiple Chaika-M simulator kits with one instructor simultaneously.
After installing the program from the flash drive (included with the simulator) onto a laptop (computer), it becomes possible to conduct simultaneous group training for up to 10 shooters with different exercises under the control of one instructor, who restarts exercises, monitors results, and provides advice on the training process.
