KENTAVR 404SDC Tractor — Powerful 4×4 Diesel with Reliable Hydraulic System and Comfortable Cab
KENTAVR 404SDC is a modern universal tractor with a 40 hp 4-cylinder diesel engine, 4×4 all-wheel drive, and hydrostatic steering with a separate pump and oil tank. Reliability, productivity, and operator comfort are combined in this unit for efficient agricultural work.
Engine and Fuel System
The KM490BT engine has a displacement of 2544 cm³, is a 4-stroke, 4-cylinder engine with an electric starter and clutch pedal starter lockout for safe starting. The cooling system is liquid-based, with a radiator and expansion tank. The fuel system includes a transparent sediment bowl with a tap and mesh, a CX70100 fine filter, an air filter with a metal mesh and oil bath, and an upward-routed air intake. Air preheating is provided by an electro-flame plug. Oil filter JX0811A, crankcase oil volume 6 L.
Transmission and Chassis
Mechanical gear transmission with 3 main gears and 2 reduction ranges. Clutch is 2-disc dry, constantly engaged. Brakes are drum-type, rear, with mechanical drive and dual pedals. The parking brake locks the main brakes. Rear axle differential lock is symmetrical with forced locking. The front axle is driven, disengaged by a lever from the cab. Steering is hydrostatic with a separate pump and oil tank, the hydraulic cylinder is double-acting symmetrical, and there is a quick-steering handle. Tires 7.50-16 (front), 11.2-24 (rear). Wheelbase 1820 mm, ground clearance 300 mm, agricultural clearance 380 mm.
Hitch System and PTO
Universal three-point rear hitch system with hydraulic lift based on a single-section plunger valve, maximum lifting capacity 550 kg. Hydraulic outlets — 2 with quick-release couplings. Power take-off shaft — rear, 6-spline, Ø35 mm, speeds 640 / 800 rpm. Simultaneous PTO connection and towing are possible. Towing device — removable pendulum drawbar.
Comfort and Electrical Equipment
The comfortable cab is equipped with a suspension seat with adjustment for distance to the steering wheel, a combined instrument panel with analog and light indicators. Generator 14 V, 750 W, battery 12 V 100 Ah, with a master switch. Lighting equipment includes front and rear headlights, brake lights, turn signals. There is a protected electrical socket for a trailer. The package is supplemented with a horn, hazard warning lights, a car radio, metal front and rear fenders, and a toolbox.
